About the author (2007)

Joanne D. started out as a mother of five working part-time as a registered nurse.  Her husband was in the military and the family was stationed in different cities all over the world.  After the drug addiction of her youngest two teenagers, Joanne became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and is currently working for the agency that helped her family.
