About the author (2010)

Alexander Amani was born in Aurora Colorado in April of 1971. His biological mother was in and out of his life through age four. His father was a naval officer who re-married a Scottish national he met while serving in Vietnam. Alexander was raised by an adoptive grandmother during the week days and would then see his biological father and step mother on the weekends. Alexander excelled early at most everything he attempted. It wasn't so much his natural ability as it was his extremely competitive nature. Alexander early on realized his passion for helping others and writing creative stories. It took several careers in: Law enforcement, education and sports recreation before he finally decided to finish three books he had been working on. His last position as a prison teacher in California was cut due to budgetary concerns. He now is working on the follow up books to The Guardians and The X Factor.
