Abandoned in Menorca with My Six Children: My Return to the Uk with My Six ChildrenThis book is about me and my childrens journey. We started off leaving Menorca, our friends, and our home. My husband had abandoned us, which was a blessing in disguise. We arrived in the United Kingdom with nothing, having to sleep outside Gatwick Airport on the street. All my plans had fallen through, and we became homeless, walking the streets with little food, in search for a home. We travelled from one office to another, from one city to another, on trains and buses. Strangers helped us when we were on the brink of despair and depression. I could not control anything that was happening, and that is one reason I am writing this book. Many people on my travels have helped me; they also were very concerned and asked me, What are you going to do? What is going to happen to you all? Now in my book I will explain my journey, although it is not over yet, but now it is a bit easier. |
