Antysemityzm a społeczeństwo mieszczańskie: w kręgu interpretacji neomarksistowskich

Front Cover
Wydawn. Trio, 2005 - Antisemitism - 303 pages
Reflects on the social meaning of modern antisemitism in the context of general theories of society, as well as on the connection of antisemitism with other ideologies, e.g. Social Darwinism, racism, nationalism, anti-socialism and anti-feminism. Kendziorek bases his interpretations on the views of the neo-Marxist Frankfurt School, e.g. those of Adorno, Horkheimer, and their followers (Sartre, Arendt, Foucault, etc.). Argues that antisemitism is always one of the important elements of a larger perception of society (or the world), and that together with other ideologies like nationalism or anti-communism, antisemitism becomes an easy tool of instrumentalized interpretation of a social reality. States that a key element in modern antisemitism is the idea of a hidden Jewish power, which is always a useful instrument for authorities who wish to divert social discontent onto other than the real problems of society. Exemplifies this thesis mainly through analysis of Nazi ideology.
