About the author (2008)

Six term state representative Rick Eddins has seen the fabric of America. Both on the campaign trail and in the showroom of his furniture store in North Carolina, he has a good read on the pulse of our country and the people who make it great. While he no longer holds office, what politics has taught him about life and people he applies to interactions with his family and the business they run together. He and his wife live outside of Raleigh, as do their adult children and their families.
