Escaping the Pain

Front Cover
AuthorHouse, Sep 3, 2009 - Biography & Autobiography - 300 pages
Inside this book is poetry that comes directly from my thoughts, feelings and experiences. I hope that bearing my soul, in black and white, will help others realize they're not alone. I found that when I wrote about my thoughts and feelings, I wasn't doing what was in my mind.  I hope that my poetry will help others, their friends and family, to better understand what they feel but are to scared to say. I hope to help them find a way to work together and to keep fighting.
I do want to warn those who read this book, it is extremely graphic and may "trigger" some.  However, remember while you're reading, it's better to write or talk about your feelings than to keep them hidden.
You can fight your demons, but you can't do it alone.  I have found my way to cope, and it has helped me to survive. This book, in my words, shows my fight and my victory.

About the author (2009)

R.A. Brusse has been through more than most her age, and without hesitation is called a survivor.  In her book, you'll get a first hand glimpse of the raw emotions she, and others, may feel from the trauma's and situations of life.

She has taken hold of situations most crumble from, and gives strength and recognition of the pain to those who have experienced it.  These emotions and confusions she writes about, in black and white, are all too often pushed aside and forced not to be dealt with.  Held inside as they silently destroy.

In her book, R.A. Brusse has found her outlet and opened herself, her hidden secrets, to her readers in hopes of providing strength to work through the pain, hurt and confusions of life's events.  To help them know others are out there, who have experienced the same, and survived.
