About the author (2010)

Paula Coates is a chartered physiotherapist, back pain specialist and author of Running Repairs.

She writes for a number of fitness magazines and is a clinical lecturer

for the MSc in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy at Kings College

London. Paula is also a keen runner and has completed six marathons.

Thuvia Flannery is a chartered physiotherapist and has worked in

the NHS for 13 years. She has lectured internationally and has a

special interest in the long term management of diabetes.
