Fleeting Thoughts

This book is a collection of short essays, stories, and bits that reflect the author’s view of the world we live in and the people that fill it.  The themes are plentiful and varied – there is no direct progression from a beginning to an end here.  Life is all over the place.  Some of the things that happen to us and around us during our lives are often bizarre, outrageous and humorous.  Perhaps not at the moment they are happening, but later on, when you are sitting there in quiet reflection, trying in vain to work that piece of cheap, stringy steak out from between your teeth without anyone noticing.  You just have to look at it all from the right angle and entertain those fleeting thoughts for a while before they move on.  “The perfect ‘pick-me-upper’”-Midwest Book Review.
