A guy has an affair with his car in Trans Am. Ivanka is a diva. Chico is a small but indomitable dog who gets involved with a gorgeous red head, drug dealers, a homeless person and an aging gay couple.

About the author (2005)

Grant Spradling was born in Muskogee and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma. A graduate of Oklahoma City and Boston Universities, he has has been an arts consultant to a national agency of the United Church of Christ, executive director of the arts council of the Florida Keys and Key West, run a bar in the Virgin Islands, sung on Broadway, The Ed Sullivan Show, at the White House, and with the Metropolitan Opera Studio. Spradling has completed two novels. His writing have appeared in Solares Hill, The Journal for Current Social Issues, and Children’s Religion and was researcher-writer for two volumes of Imaging the Word. Spradling shares with his partner three dogs and homes in Amarillo, Texas and Mérida, Yúcatan, Mexico.
