About the author

I have always been an avid reader of a variety of novels. Reading and writing have always interested me. For the last twenty years, I have been writing, and recently decided that after writing several draft manuscripts, I wanted the challenge of publishing a book. Born and reared in Kenbridge, Virginia (Lunenburg County), Chris resides in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, with his wife, Kathy, and children Christopher Michael and Stephanie Christina-Gail Hawthorne. Chris and Kathy are high school sweethearts who both believe in accepting challenges, which led me to follow my dreams and write this book.
