Page 3 - We believe that the objectives of the legislation can be handled as well under the regular 8(a) program. We feel even more strongly against extending the surety bond waiver pilot. SBA has regulations in place to administer the current pilot, but we have received no requests for surety bond waiver from a section 8(a) concern since the original enactment of the authority to waive bonds.
