About the author (2009)

Dana English-Nelson is an aspiring, life driven writer who is also pursuing her nursing career. For years, she has desired to share her work with other, hoping to help and inspire them with her heartfelt verses. She has written poetry for different organizations around the world and she has entertained many with her spoken words. This offering, Hear My Voice is the first of many poetry collections to be published by Dana. She was born in Sumter, South Carolina. She currently resides in Okinawa, Japan with her loving husband and son.
