Miss Independent~Series OneVanessa Ann Brown is the V.P. of Attitude Magazine. You could say that she has it all, but in reality, she has everything but love, something she isn't looking for. Things begin to go downhill for her when Sheila Harris and Danny Talor return to Manhattan for their five year high school reunion. Everything goes from bad to worse when she bumps into Danny on the street after a disasterous date. He not only tells her that he's moving back to Manhattan permanetly, but that he and Sheila plan to marry. After hearing the news, she immediately tells best friends Maurice and Nikki, who both suggest that the reunion would help her to get over Danny and Sheila's betrayal. Although she initially disagrees, she realizes that in order to let go of the past, she has to move on in the present. She confronts both Danny and Sheila on various occassions, only to realize that she may never get over their betrayal or what she did to Danny that eventually drove him away. |
