About the author (2004)

Industry expert Alan E. Sanderfoot has been a fixture in the pool community, having served as editor and associate publisher of Aqua, a glossy monthly magazine covering pools and hot tubs, for 9 years. He was named one of the top 100 people in aquatics by the National Swimming Hall of Fame for his work on Aqua. He currently runs Sanderfoot & Co., an editorial, marketing and design firm, and resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
