About the author (2008)

Emma Young is an award-winning science journalist and writer. Most recently she worked in Sydney, as the Acting Australasian Editor for New Scientist magazine. She's written for various newspapers and is the author of two non-fiction children's books, the Astronaut's Survival Guide and How to be a Super Spy. Emma loves travelling but in Sydney, she spends her spare time sailing, swimming and learning Italian.
