About the author (2000)

Jennifer Watson is one of the foremost experts on America Online, authoring over ten books on learning and mastering AOL. Her invaluable compilation of keywords prepared and shared with America Online's membership became the bestselling AOL Keywords (now in its third edition). Jennifer followed that up with the popular AOL Companion, a collection of AOL tips and tricks now in its second edition, and AOL E-Mail, a guide to making the most of e-mail on AOL. Jennifer also coauthored the three previous editions of The Official America Online Tour Guide with Tom Lichty, her friend and mentor. In addition to her writing, Jennifer had the privilege of teaching America Online members and staff how to use AOL effectively and efficiently in her roles as a community leader and founder of an online training academy. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in social psychology from the University of Michigan, a field that serves her well in understanding and explaining the new social climate on AOL and the Internet. Jennifer lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her dog Kippi, an adorable Alaskan Malamute.
