About the author (2003)

Amy Pinchuk's previous books in the Popular Mechanics for Kidstrade; series include Make Cool Gadgets for Your Room (shortlisted for the Canadian Science Writers' Association's Science in Society Book Award) and Make Amazing Toy and Game Gadgets. Amy received her Doctorate in Engineering from McGill University and taught graduate Engineering there. She is currently a consultant for the Canadian Navy and many others.
