About the author (2007)

Lourdes Diaz Soto is Professor, College of Education, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. She has worked with families and children in Puerto Rico and the mainland. In addition, she's published a number of titles on bilingual and bicultural teaching and learning as well as numerous journals in professional journals.
