About the author (2007)

Barbara Ann Smith is a master at the art of dream healing and self-discovery and has an avid following as a Self-Discovery and Awareness Coach. Barbara’s career started as a licensed medical technician working in the areas of hematology and chemistry. As she studied, she began to expand her scientific training into the practice of body, mind and spirit healing modalities. Her research into alternative fields has led her all over the world—from the mountains of the Western United States, to the temples of Greece, to the Himalayas of Asia. She has studied with international masters in meditation and healing techniques and advanced Dream Tending, just to name a few. Barbara came to realize that the world had lost touch with the art of dreaming and the understanding of its powerful ability to guide us. Her own dream work became her passion and took her into deep research of dreamtime. She delved into the mystery of the worlds beyond our waking limitations and synthesized all she has learned into a practice that the common person can apply in their every day life to make sense of dreams, signs, symbols and metaphors. All of this seeking has culminated in her powerful findings, now to be shared in The River of Dreams.

Barbara works with clients in self-discovery and conscious awareness, through dreams and spiritual guidance.  Since she has discovered that experience is the best teacher, we must experience life and live our dreams. Barbara provides the tools for making sense of the journey.
