Viajeros medievales: los ricos y los insatisfechos

Front Cover
Editorial NEREA, 2000 - History - 340 pages

This engaging and fascinating book delves into a topic that has rarely been studied: travel in the medieval world. Presenting a cast of (usually moneyed) characters who traveled for religious or political reasons, or purely out of a desire for knowledge, adventure, or entertainment, this examination lays the stale concept of the medieval man as a static individual to rest.
