What people are saying - Write a review
A close ancestor of mine, I have much respect for my blood relative connection with Mr Charles W. Hobley. I will write more on this review later but for now I will say as wrong as it was that Britain went down there and wrought its imperialistic war-stomp on the people indigenous to the land, Hobley, as an anthropologist and a human being, will tell you just the same, as he felt it was a devastating effect of negative choices made in the aftermath and his main observation was that it was not the right of England to have done what they have done, that his vision and respect for the tribes, people of different faith and culture, should be just as well developing on as they were and even good intentions to impose on a culture of its own is a dangerous and unjust act. Take care, read his book!
