About the author (2004)

Dr. Kaufman is director of the Dotter Institute and past president of the Society of Interventional Radiology. His clinical interests include aortic aneurysms, venous diseases, vascular malformations, and image guide treatment of liver cancers and uterine fibroids. He is also actively involved in clinical research in these areas. Dr. Lee is a Professor of Radiology and Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Beaumont Hospital and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He's been past President of the International Society of Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Diseases and the past-President of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.
