About the author (2004)

Harding was born in Melbourne, Australia. He spent three years backpacking in Europe and Southeast Asia. In 1996 he joined Lonely Planet as an editor and now works full time as a writer.

Bindloss has a degree in Biology and has been a mural painter, sculptor and rock climbing tutor.
