There is a connecting theme in my reading list. Wolf's Proust and The Squid explores the unnatural heavy lifting in learning to [deep] read, and if you followed my reference to Nick Carr's "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" you know it is at risk. This book is about how you manifest web design for Google-trained, hyper-ADD society.
Exceptionally readable and highly insightful. I find myself recommending it to people who aren't interested in web design, because it's just that good a read.
