Hooked on Crochet offers 20 fabulous crochet projects, including hats, bags, clothing, and home accessories. If you love the look but have never crocheted, this is the book for you! First-time crocheters will learn the basic techniques, step by step, as they complete beautiful projects to wear, use, and give as gifts.

Start with a long, simple scarf made from novelty yarns. Then, move on to a throw pillow in jewel tones inspired by the fabrics of India. Make a fashion statement with a lacy tank top, a cloche-style hat, or a short cardigan in your favorite delicious shades. Try a beaded crocheted fringe for a lamp shade, crocheted trim for a hammock, and even elegant crocheted edgings for pillows, sheets, and napkins.

Whether you're new to crocheting or need a refresher course, Hooked on Crochet makes crocheting a snap.

Good basics and lots of pictures to demonstrate. I like her swinging ribbon bag pg 46 and basic flower making pg 90-94. She has some crazy stuff like an itty bitty crochet bikini (don't swim in this one) and a tacky 70's style lamp shade cover. Read full review
