About the author (2007)

Raymond Kogan, AIA is the president of Kogan & Company, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, management consulting, and marketing consulting for design and construction firms.  A registered architect, he has more than 30 years of experience in the practice, management, and marketing of architecture.
 
Michael Tardif, Assoc. AIA, Hon. SDA, is a freelance writer and editor who has spent 15 years as a project architect and manager, 4 years as a design technology consultant to architectural/engineering firms, and 6 years as a director of educational programs and publications for design professionals.  He is a contributing editor of The Architect’s Handbook of Professional Practice, 13th Edition (American Institute of Architects), and is a lifetime honorary member of the Society of Design Administration.
