Review: Alexander (Great Captains)

Good book. Great for those wanting an overview of Alexander's campaigns. This is the second of Dodge's books I've read (Hannibal) and I've enjoyed both of them. Read full review

This was my second favorite of the three books I have read on Alexander. A good military summary, although this is mostly because it is written my a former army general. It lacks a little on the scholarly side (especially political) but it is by no means a bad book. Read full review
