About the author (2004)

Kay E. Huggins served as a Presbyterian pastor for twenty seven years. She enjoyed an active and varied ministry pastoring a rural congregation in western Pennsylvania, developing a new congregation in New Mexico, and providing education and evangelism programs for a large congregation in an age restricted community in Arizona. Kay recently authored Called to Be God's People, for the Great Themes of the Bible Series by Abingdon Press. Currently she enjoys a quiet life of teaching, writing, and caring for her mother who is ninety-three years old.
