The Systematic Design of InstructionAbstract: A reference text for instructors describes the strategic application of a systems approach model for instructional design. Numerous illustrations of the application of this model are provided. Topics include: identifying and analyzing an instructional goal and strategy; instructional analysis of student skills; developing course performance objectives; developing instructional materials and test items; evaluation of the instructional design effectiveness; and guidelines for the revision of instructional materials.
