Rossiter's treatise on the Western human condition is an indispensable weapon for those doing battle in the secular academic arena. It contains a wealth of analysis and resources. While it's missing a vital component in the spiritual realities underlying the grand conflict of the ages, the book serves a vital purpose. Let me recommend Bork's "Slouching Toward Gomorrah" as a companion book for an accurate and disturbing perspective on the decline of American academics.
