Once again, for a school book, very good and the second time around I was able to pick up on more of the disturbing symbolism.

this is the best book of a time flat out, it is a true portrait of the problems with society, and how quickly things turn to anarchy

While Britain is in a war a plane carrying some boys was shot down over an island. This was an entreating beginning to a wonderful book. I was surprised by how quick the boys decided to get organized and elect a leader among them. When Ralph is elected as the leader of this group of boys they start to build their society. Without adults they enjoying their freedom playing in the water and such. By using Piggy's eye glasses they light a signal fire to inform passing ships about their whereabouts. When they don't pay attention to the signal fire it goes out of control and burns everything. This was an excellent lesson that the book taught me. To pay attention. When we don't give attention to things in our lives that mater they can quickly go out of control and destroy everything. We must not be distracted by "playing" or we will suffer the consequences. The "Hunters" in the story seem to be the first to fall into the savage behavior. I believe this is because they were forced to kill to eat. Killing an animal is something that nope of these kids probably has ever done before therefore releasing a savage desire in them. I thought that the parachutist was very interesting. When the boys thought it was a beast and then it created much stir in the leadership of the group it reminded me of how in life we can be compelled to act upon false evidence. When Jack final take control of the group we see disaster happen. With Piggy's death we see how savage these boy's have become. At the end of the story when Ralph is running for his life then collapses to look up and see a British naval officer standing over him is a perfect ending to this book. When this happens all reality sets in and the boy's remember who they are and are overwhelmed with regret for what they have done. I think that this book brings out a lot of great issues. It is very captivating and keeps your attention the whole time. I give this book four out of five stars.

The book Lord Of The Flies by william golding was a pretty good book for the reason that it showed how quickly civilized children could make civilization in crazyness. On the contrary the it also showed how quickly they turn evil and uncivilized. The children model after the dictatorship of hitler almost. One side of the children id a sensible boy named ralph who tries at the upmost of his ability to keep the rescue fire going and fair leadership while the other side Jacks side is practicing torture and dictatorship. The tribe that jack supports turns into ravenous killers and a torturous leaders,
