Spanning her 25-year career, Grammy Award-winner Natalie Cole tells all in this autobiography that is unforgettable ...in every way.

Born to legendary singer Nat "King" Cole in the halcyon days of the 1950s, Natalie Cole grew up to become a versatile and soulful singer whose talents catapulted her all the way to Grammy Award-winning status. But that success came with a price.

Dragged down by drugs, depression, and divorce -- and enduring everything from bankruptcy proceedings to surviving the ordeals of rehab -- Natalie realized she had spun out of control and was in grave danger of losing custody of her son.

What follows is an inspirational and riveting story of her tremendous musical comeback, from wrenching heartbreak to crowning glory, culminating in the international success of Unforgettable with Love, a tribute to her father.

Natalie Cole has been to hell and back twice. It was interesting to read about her time at UMass Amherst (my alma mater) and in Springfield, where she got hooked on heroin. Read full review
