Review: The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787, Vol. 1User Review - Aaron Crofut - Goodreads
Pretty impressive to see where the true "national conversation" began and where it ended up. Very interesting to see what Madison and Hamilton had to say in the privacy of the convention compared to their Federalist statements. Too many different facets worth consideration to even attempt a list. Read full review
Review: The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787, Vol. 1User Review - Goodreads
An invaluable volume for any student of constitutional history, but it's also a fascinating study in how the same event can be remembered/recorded in different ways by different people. I love comparing notes from the same day's events as recollected by different notetakers.
