For the businessman, newcomer, or visitor, this guide provides information on population, services, recreation, accommodations, restaurants, and main attractions. Comprehensive information in an easy-to-use format on the area's past, transportation, lodging, dining, nightlife, entertainment, shopping, sights, and more. While Houston holds tight to its traditions, economic development and cultural diversity are rapidly moulding it into the international city of the twenty-first century. And this newly updated fourth edition is the perfect guide with which to explore it. The list of attractions that includes the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Space Center Houston, the Astrodome, Six Flags AstroWorld, the Port of Houston, and the Downtown Pedestrian Tunnel System is essential for anyone seeking something new and fun to do.
