I learned from this book that you should always stand up for yourself. In this book there was a young girl who had to disect a worm for a science lab. She thought that this was cruel so she refused to do it. Through out the book she was fighting for what she beleived in. Read full review

Claudia Mills is an American author of children's books. She is also an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has written several children's series including: Mason Dixon Series, Gus and Granpa Series, West Creek Middle School Seres, and Dinah Series.
