Recently viewed the 1956 movie based on this novel. Intrigued, I sought out a copy. First half "Crime of our Century" read quickly; second half "Trial of the Century" took longer but is the most interesting aspect of this story. Highly Recommend! Read full review

This is sort of hard to rate because although it is a well-written book it is very unpleasant to read. It's interesting as a window into the social mores and pop psychology of the 1920s, but it is also very disturbing. Read full review
