A sketch of the life of Alice Barnham who lived from 1592 to 1650. Barnham married at the age of fourteen and escaped from the schoolroom, which may be attributed to the faults shown in her later life. The story is partly from various documents found in the London Record Office on old vellum rolls. Every attempt has been made to make certain the dates within are correct.
