Patricia W. Iyer, MSN, RN, LNCC has written, coauthored, or edited over 125 articles, chapters, textbooks, case studies, and online courses. She is the chief editor of Principles and Practices of Legal Nurse Consulting, Second Edition (2003) the core curriculum of legal nurse consulting and Business Principles for Legal Nurse Consultants (2005).

Certified by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consulting as a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC), Ms. Iyer began her nursing career by earning a diploma in nursing from Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing in Plainfield, New Jersey. She earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing and a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
