It is fantastic that Google Books has made this three volume history of the Leslie family available to all. We are very fortunate that Colonel Charles Leslie completed and published this work just before he died in 1869. This work is a very complete history of the Leslies from their founder Bartholomew in 1069 to 1869 and is used as a major reference for Clan Leslie families who are tracing their own family histories. I often refer to these e-books myself even though I am fortunate to have an original copy in pristine condition. I often refer people to these Google Book sites.
