The term "smarty pants" has always been cute in my opinion. This book is great to bring into the classroom. I faintly remember this math book as a kid, it makes math fun with interesting problems, examples, and activities! Could introduce some of the activities into your cirriculumn. Read full review

About the author (1982)

Marilyn Burns is one of today's most highly respected mathematics educators and is the founder of Math Solutions. She received the Louise Hay Award for Contributions to Mathematics Education, and in collaboration with Scholastic, she developed "Do the Math" TM, a program for elementary students.
