About the author (2006)

Frank Duerden wrote walking guides to many areas of Britain, including the Lake District, the Pennines, Snowdonia, the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District.

Andrew Midgley works as a Freelance Photographer, and has travelled widely throughout the UK and Europe on book projects for major publishers. He exhibits in a number of UK galleries and sells limited edition fine art prints. He has been taking photographs for many years and has an MA in Visual Communications.
