I own a copy of this book. It was handed down from Jehu Chastain, an early missionary from Rabun County, GA. It has a lot of genealogical information especially useful in deciphering what and why some of these missionaries moved from GA to Oklahoma and Arkansas, and many seem to have been sent as missionaries to the Cherokee on the trail of tears.
It is a list of associations from the Baptist General tract society in Philadelphia and covers parts of Canada in addition to the US of 1835 and before. It is an incredible snapshot of Baptist history from that date. As far as a pleasure to read it is not. It is a research source though.
