About the author (2011)

A team of veteran travel writers, Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince have produced dozens of previous titles for Frommer's, including many of the guides to European countries such as Italy and England, as well as the Caribbean. Porter wrote the first ever Frommer's guide to Germany, a territory he continues to cover to this day. Danforth Prince joined Frommer's in 1982. Together they have produced other guides to Germany, including Frommer's Berlin, Frommer's Frankfurt, and Frommer's Munich & the Bavarian Alps. Porter is also a Hollywood columnist and biographer, and Danforth Prince, formerly of the New York Times, is president of Blood Moon Productions.
