These two volumes are a must read for anyone interested in studying genocide. The entries are concise and informative. The authors use very straight forward language that makes for very easy reading. Genocide is already a hard pill to swallow, there is no need to make it even harder to read with ornate language and historical digressions. Reading these volumes have been a great introduction to my genocide and violence studies.
