1984: a novel
For use in schools and libraries only. Portrays life in a future time when a totalitarian government watches over all citizens and directs all activities. 1984 is still the great modern classic of "negative utopia" in its representation of an imaginary world that is completely convincing.

After reading this book, I was seized with fear. I think this story is more horrible than any other horror novels. I took long time to read this book. But it is valuable! At first, I could not understand well about newspeak. however, at page 41-43, I could understand them very much. For example, goodthinkers, crimestop, blackwhite and doublethink. The most impressive part is putting Winston on the track in ministry of love. The scene is dreadful. If such the case like this story became in real, what should I do? Can we stop the political power?
