If you love choral music, then this is a wonderful book of suggestions and encouragement! It is especially geared to the conductor of choral groups, but can be enjoyed by anyone who sings in a group setting. ALL young conductors should be required to read Professor Noble's wise and experienced view of the "special world" that is possible though choral music. Experienced conductors will be reminded of the best practices that lead to success in the world of the rehearsal, from the first moments of the first rehearsal to the final polish before the performance. Professor Noble has made huge contributions to the world of music, and it is a treasure to have a few of his many fine ideas in a fixed, useable resource.
