This book is about a young girl Josefina, who is Mexican, and growing up near Santa Fe. In the first book of the series she is coping with the recent death of her mother, and the arrival of her aunt.

I do not know why I read this book, but I am kind of glad that I did. It was a really good book. This could have really happened to someone and it just makes it so much better if it could have happened. I liked this book a lot even though I don't know why I read it. Read full review
