This fast-paced action thriller, spanning eight centuries from medieval Germany and Prussia to present day Poland and USA, centers on the legend of the Amber Knight. The sarcophagus of a 13th century knight whose body was encased in molten amber, the Amber Knight is said to hold a curse that death awaits every unbeliever who looks upon the knight's face. The treasure has not been seen in over 50 years, since it was stolen by the Nazis. That is, until photographs are sent to museum director Adam Salen. Adam and his assistant Magda want the Knight for their museum, but when a mafia hit man is found dead on Adam's doorstep and more corpses are discovered in woods near Hitler's Wolf's Lair, Adam wonders at the truth behind the myth.
