I generally agree with all the reviews below. This is an easy-to-read, informative book. I thoroughly enjoyed being out on the road travelling from corrida to corrida with Fran's cuadrilla who look after him in and out of the ring.
My reasons for giving the book four stars and not the full five are: firstly, there is not much direct conversation with the matador himself. We don't really get inside his head. And secondly, there are no photos. I think the book would have benefited from at least one photo of Fran himself, and some of the cuadrilla on the road.
Sadly, unless he, or his brother Cayetano, get their skates on and have a son, their bullfighting inheritance will end with the two Rivera Ordóñez brothers.(I think I'm correct in thinking that only Fran has a child - a daughter.)
