About the author (1986)

Bill Henderson is the founder and editor of the Pushcart Prize. He received the 2006 National Book Critic Circle's Lifetime Achievement Award and the Poets & Writers / Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award. He lives in Wainscott, New York.

Levine has won the Pulitzer Prize and other honors for his volumes of poetry.

Jack Myers is professor of English at Southern Methodist University.


David Wojahn is professor of English at Indiana University. Both are faculty members of the Vermont College M.F.A. Program.
